2011 Fall FYSA Academy Community Service Opportunities

Franklin Youth Soccer, community service opportunities
"Friendship" for Freshmen & Sophmores: play soccer on Saturday mornings throughout the Fall season at King Street Memorial Park from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
The emphasis is on skill. So, you'll be expected to showcase as many foot skills as possible throughout each and every game. That way, the kids will see what good soccer skills are and might actually put what you're showing them into practice. And don't worry about dominating the game. There will be restrictions placed upon you that will make winning extremely difficult.

"Mentorship" for Juniors & Seniors: run circuit training on Saturday mornings throughout the Fall season at King Street Memorial Park from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
The emphasis is on skill. So, you'll be expected to work on first touch, ball control, dribbling, passing and shooting. Everything you'll need will be provided for you. Each week, you'll alternate between 2 different circuit routines involving 6 separate stations. And to make sure that the kids have as much fun as possible, each session will end with shooting.

"Goalkeeping": run goalkeeper training on Saturday mornings throughout the Fall season at King Street Memorial Park from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. For the beginner.
