FYSA hires Challenger Sports to train Academy players:
FYSA has hired the professional coaching staff from Challenger Sports to train the FYSA Academy program for 6 weeks. The professionally led training sessions will take the place of the volunteer coach training sessions on the following days for the following groups:
- Junior Girls: Tuesdays from 5pm-6pm at Dacey
(followed by a 30 minute, volunteer coach led scrimmage)
- Junior Boys: Tuesdays from 6pm-7pm at Dacey
(followed by a 30 minute, volunteer coach led scrimmage)
- Senior Girls: Fridays from 5pm-6pm at Dacey
(followed by a 30 minute, volunteer coach led scrimmage)
- Senior Boys: Fridays from 6pm-7pm at Dacey
(followed by a 30 minute, volunteer coach led scrimmage)
IMPORTANT: The hiring of professionals is dual-purpose. First, to train the players. Second, to train the coaches. All players and coaches are welcome to attend these sessions.
